St Peters Square, Manchester

Here's my latest image of St Peter's Square, available as a limited edition print, which I had for sale at Green Walk Open House exhibition. It features Manchester Central Library, Manchester Town Hall (and extension), The Midland Hotel, the new Emmeline Pankhurst statue, Manchester Cenotaph war memorial, St Peters Square One, St Peters Square Two and the metrolink station.

Street portrait commission

Street portrait illustration commission I did for Marmion Drive last spring. Including cats, dogs, birds, hedgehogs and squirrels. The image can be framed in  portrait or landscape view.

Here's the final leaflet for the super Outdoor Trail at National Trust site, Quarry Bank Mill, put together using my illustrations and map.  Love the lettering!

Outdoor Play Trail, Quarry Bank Mill, National Trust

Thrilled to illustrate an outdoor children's play trail for Quarry Bank Mill National Trust site in Cheshire earlier this year. The suggested activities include den-building, stick trails, matching colours to plants, pooh sticks, identifying leaves and listening out for particular sounds.

Hooray- I now have my very own So Chorlton bags! Commissioned by Chorlton Traders and now for sale in Chorlton shops. So Chorlton lettering and lychgate illustration by me.

Big Ears and Sticky Fingers

Big Ears and Sticky Fingers (Oxford Reading Tree, Infact level 9 non-fiction, OUP 2014) has been published this month. Great to see the map and stamps I illustrated in print version! The book has a postal theme with animal stamps from around the world, the continents cut from parcel paper and the ocean waves made up from postal marks.

Limited edition prints of The Meade, Chorlton

Have just finished another local scene/map, this time of The Meade in Chorlton, based on a circle. Limited edition prints and cards will be available soon.
My other local scenes/maps are based on a triangle (Chorlton Green), a rectangle (Beech Road Park) and a line (Beech Road). Square or hexagon anywhere...?

Souvenir prints Thames Pageant 2012

New limited edition souvenir print (A3 size) of Thames Jubilee Pageant, the grandest flotilla on the Thames for 350 years.  This image celebrates the final section between London Bridge and Tower Bridge, with the Royal Jubilee Bells barge just crossing the finishing line.

Chinese New Year

I joined a large crowd in Albert Square, Manchester on 10th February to watch the dragons dance outside the Town Hall, and mark the start of the Chinese New Year of the Snake.
I have just completed these limited edition prints (out of 100) of the dragons dance to celebrate the event, each hand-painted in red and gold gouache onto black and white prints. Fabriano accademia paper, A3 size (297 x 420mm)
